A bit about me…

Hey, I’m Matt - a seasoned producer with over five years experience in creative and brand agencies; I've spearheaded multi-segment, host-led magazine shows for esteemed clients like Google Android and Sky, and produced an independent short film, currently making rounds on the festival circuit. My diverse portfolio spans video, animation, design, and illustration work for major brands including Google Android, YouTube EMEA, YouTube Music, Sky, Deliveroo, AstraZeneca, and Knauf.

My journey into this career traversed a decade of diverse roles around the globe, including stints in the USA, Taiwan, Uganda, New Zealand, and Australia. These experiences were instrumental in refining my adaptability, nurturing my collaboration and relationship-building skills, and instilling a firm commitment to achieving excellence in everything I do.

Now London based, but always ready for global collaborations.

My coffee? Black and hot.

And attention to detail? Always.

“As a barista…”

In 2018, based in Sydney, Australia, I was cast for a short series of sales videos for De’Longhi’s innovative coffee machine.

Despite not being a barista by trade, I can make coffee... and, you may have noticed, I quite enjoy it!

Black Coffee Diaries

Launching my own YouTube channel in 2013 marked a shift from photography to video production.

A highlight for me was "Black Coffee Diaries" - a docu-vlog series chronicling my life and experiences in Taiwan from 2014 to 2016.

Then, now, & maybe tomorrow

Storytelling has always driven my work. During my photography degree, I developed a particular interest in timeless, placeless journeys and distinguished myself with film and post-processing methods that contrasted the typical polished aesthetics.

In 2011, I took a series of Amtrak journeys across America, capturing evocative images that celebrated the journey's essence, some of which are showcased on an old Wordpress blog alongside my graduate project's black-and-white images.

Perhaps one day soon, these and others will find their way into a curated photobook - maybe tomorrow...
